    Hello

I made some customisation with yellow pencil, now I hired a developer as some plugin are difficult with yellow pencil.

My developer needs to turn off yellow pencil and do his customisation. After he finish I would like to activate again the plugin( to be able to do other jobs) without having back the customisation there was before as it will break his job.

Any idea how to do it?

    Thanks

    Hi Sonia,

I understand. Please let me know which plugins is difficult with Yellow Pencil? so I can make Improvements on next updates.

If you deactive Yellow Pencil Plugin all changes will disable and when you active plugin again, all changes will back. i.e: only deactive plugin and after you can active again. you will not lose your changes.

Also you can control styles from wordpress panel > Settings > \"Yellow Pencil Source\" page.

    I\'m hope thats help.

    Best Regards

    Hi Zafer

    Thanks for your reply.

The problem until now is with Buddypress, I installed the new version but seems is not working yet, can you have a look?

Also it is not possible to customize some pages, for example I have a search bar on the home and I would like to modify the page you get after you click search, no way it will redirect me on the home...

My developer would like to modify without yellow pencil so it will be necessary that when I reactivate the plugin the previous customisations are not coming back, how can I do?

    Thanks!

    Hi sonia,

I have try Yellow Pencil with buddypress and still have a few issues. I\'m sorry for this problem. I will make Improvements on next updates.

I understand it, so this element not customizable because there is javascript code for automatic redirect and so Yellow Pencil can\'t disable this redirect. This not possible in javascript language.

Some features still not stable and we working on that.

I tested it on a lot website and you will not lose your changes after deactive and active plugin. Maybe you using plugins as \"wp-optimize\"? if yes so this plugins delete data from database.

    I\'m hope thats help.
